  • For boating, go to the boat house club and at the reception, request them for Yachting. If a boatman is available, he will take you on the yachting. It is a better experience than normal boating. If that does not work out then you can get a normal paddle boat from the boat quay behind Capitol Cinema.

  • After this you can some pastries at Sakley's Bakery along with tea or coffee. I prefer Blueberry Cheesecake or Chocolate Eclairs.

  • Visit Snow View by the cable car near Sakley's. Enjoy the 360 ride there which gives you a beautiful view of Nainital as well as the Himalayas provided the sky is clear.

  • Explore the Mall Road.

  • You can find some local handmade candles at Mehrotra's House of Wax at the Bara Bazaar, if you'd like to take them as a gift for your near and dear ones.

  • For dinner you can either have it at one of the restaurants in the Mall road (Sakley's, Machaan, Embassy, Cafe Lakeside or Zooby's Kitchen) or Anupam at Bara Bazaar for Kumaoni Thali. If you have pre ordered dinner at home, we'll be looking forward to seeing you there.

This trek takes about 5.5 to 6 hours to complete with a walk of about 12 kms, hence you should start this trek by 10:30 A.M.

  • If you'd like to do a small trek then you can trek to Tiffin Top, which is in the same Ayarpatta hill, where our home is located. Here is a video guide for you to follow:

  • If you would like to visit the Raj Bhawan ie. The Governor's House too then you should descend down to it via the Sherwood College way. Ask the shopkeepers at Tiffin Top for guidance.

  • For lunch you can come back home if you have pre-ordered or try out one of the restaurants mentioned on the Day 1 plan.

  • The afternoon can be spent in relaxing if you have done the treks. If not, then you can take the rickshaw from the Mallital rickshaw stand till the St. Francis Church. Visit the Church.
